One of the more common requests that we get from fans is that we send them the  lyrics to  G.L.C.. So, to make this easier for us and followers of Menace we've put the lyric here. We're also adding other popular lyrics.

If any of you are historians, beware. Needless to say, the perpetrators of punk in 1977 were not prone to writing everything down and filing it away for posterity. This set the band questions in 1997 when the songs were being revived. 'How much can we remember?' And, if we can't remember, 'What was Morgan singing?' Mostly the words were clear in the recordings but not every word. So, there is a little guess work in some of the songs, very little.

One exception is Punk Rocker. The memory of this song was feint. D-Generate, of Wooton Edge, came to the rescue with a bootleg of a gig at the Lord Raglan in Wolverhampton from 31 October 1978. This threw light on most of the music and few of the words; you could not expect any more from a PA at a punk gig in 1978. So Charlie got to work deciphering the original words and John wrote some great lyrics to fill up the holes and the rest of the band got to work on rearranging the song. The result is today's Punk Rocker, essentially written by both the 1970s and  1990s versions band:
